The AI opponent is a little too advance for beginners but Im a dig fan of the tsume "progression" mode.

A great tool
The app has great puzzles and a nice user interface.
A few puzzles do not allow good answers however
I am an absolute beginner, and it helped me improve a lot. There are largely enough problems for a free app, and the usability is great.
Love go? This app will help you get better by leaps and bounds.
lots of problems, good UI. havent hit a bug yet.
I enjoy the daily exercises.
Just learning go. This app provides several levels of puzzles to help you develop your tactical skills. It also gives you the answer for all the puzzles. Another area would be strategy and theory, but, that is not what this app does.
Really nice way to study and become familiar with life and death situations!
It has lots of small cases to resolve which fits perfectly with my spare times and I do not need to spend a lot of time in a single game. I really like it!
I am a recent student of Go and downloaded this app to learn more about the game. Doesnt seem to be the purpose of the game frankly, without good baseline knowledge you will just flounder until you chance upon the solution. After reading a few books on the topic I am starting to get a better feel and am finding the game more useful. That being said it would be nice to have a two line introduction of the goal of each problem.
Best go app Ive used. Only does life or death but does it very well.
Very good game
Tsumego pro looks nice and has six problems for free every day. You really cant go wrong with an app like this.
Exactly what I wanted! The perfect ensemble of easy to navigate Go problems while on the go :)
Lots of great problems for all levels
I have "chess tactics pro" which is exactly the same app but for chess problems. The only difference is I can turn on a computer opponent on the chess app which can play me, and prove to me why my move is bad (or very rarely prove that Im right and simply found a longer alternate). If this app had a playable computer it would be perfect.
Nearly the only thing Id like is commentary on why each solution is good/bad.
A very simple and straightforward tsumego app for casual go-problem solving. Great for train commutes
